Yes, the wedding will be a formal event and we are asking our guests to please dress in black-tie optional attire.

For men, they should wear a dark suit with a shirt and tie (if they don’t wish to wear a tuxedo). Women should wear a floor-length gown, knee-length cocktail dress, or dressy separates.

Yes! We have a shuttle picking up guests staying at the Embassy Suites starting at 4:00pm. The shuttle will also take guests back starting at 10:00pm.

No, this is an adults only event.

The Umstead has free parking as well as valet for all of our wedding guests.

Both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting). The reception will be inside.

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure all guests get seated on time.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Umstead Hotel and Spa located at 100 Woodland Pond Dr, Cary, NC 27513
